Shrimp and  Creamy Cheesy Grits

A combination of  sliced smoked sausage and andoullie sausage, with the shrimp gives the savory flavor to a  the rich  trinity and tomato gravy  with hints of thyme and cayenne pepper. All this low country flavor sits on top of creamy three cheeses, stone ground grits, which include cheddar, mozzarella, and Monterrey jack.

A simple country Southern breakfast of homemade sage sausage, creamy cheddar cheese grits and scrambled eggs reminds me of my childhood and the breakfast my Grand would serve for breakfast right before getting ready for Sunday School and Sunday Morning Church services. The only things  that are missing are the buttermilk biscuits and the molasses………
