The Backyard Garden’s First Harvest
Despite the late start, my garden has produced it’s very first harvest of the Summer…..
Squash, green beans, eggplant and sprigs of parsley and basil……there is nothing better than having fresh produce from your own garden….and to the table for tonight’s dinner!

Flank Steak Roulade with Roasted Garlic and Herbs Cheese Spread served with Miso Buttered Shrimp, Green Beans and a Roasted Potato with Thyme.
Make the ordinary steak and potatoes meal extraordinary with a few herbs and Asian flavors. Prior to cooking, the flank steak was marinated in soy sauce, mirin and sake.
